DESIGNYARD, the South Frederick Street retailer specialising in unique corporate gifts and awards promotes the work of more than 250 designer/makers across a wide range of disciplines, including: sculpture; wood; glass and ceramics. Much of the work is exclusive to DESIGNYARD’s impressive gallery and includes one off and limited edition pieces. Work can also be commissioned from most of the artists through the gallery.
Celebrating 20 years in business this year, DESIGNYARD last year moved to 25 South Frederick Street, the new Gallery Quarter of Dublin.
Being an Irish owned specialist design outlet it strikes a bold move against the trend of international owned chains in the Grafton Street area. MD Gerry Crosbie, an accountant by profession, turned his passion into a career when he set up the business. Staff all have
specialist knowledge and training with many being graduates of the National College of Art and Design.
