   Thomas Horgan is an educational entrepreneur having established three successful education businesses since 1999 in the second and third level sectors. Graduating with a BSc. in Food Business from University College Cork he commenced his career in the Financial Services Industry. Qualifying as a registered stockbroker with Davy Stockbrokers, Ireland's leading stockbroking company. He later qualified as a commodity broker and acted on behalf of a currency hedge fund company Appleton in the Irish Financial Services Centre. A desire for self employment encouraged him to depart the Financial Services industry in 2004 and establish a third level privately owned college. Active in the Irish market as an approved contracted trainer, in the International Education market as an approved English Language School and in the third level market as a provider of Internationally recognised third level courses. Thomas also acts as a consultant in a number of educational projects Worldwide and is currently participating in educational projects in the UK, Middle East, China and Russia. A recipient of a Nuffield Scholarship Thomas was chairperson of Nuffield Ireland for a four year period. Actively involved in a Dairy enterprise in Ireland.
