Catherine Duggan (MacSweeney) began her career organising events over 15 years ago, as marketing manager for The Financial Times in Tokyo. Soon followed the job of marketing manager for the FT’s Conference division in London. There she learned the importance of attention to detail, attention to budget and impeccable service for the customer. Catherine opened her own business, The Mulberry Tree, in 2004 creating custom invitations for social events. Her clients recognised her creativity and at their urging, she moved into the area of wedding planning. Today, Catherine is best known for her creative and unusual ideas, her unexpected decor accents and her exquisite attention to every last detail. Catherine’s lively personality and calm demeanor help her customers relax as she creates weddings and parties of impeccable taste and style.
