Des O'Neill (OmniPro)'s Summary

I have worked in various areas as a practising and regulating accountant during the first 8 years of my career but was never happy with the "tag" of accountant. I always felt there was more to accountancy and a better way to add value to businesses and the people within those businesses so in 2004 I changed my career path and direction in 2004 by setting up OmniPro with my brother Micheal. Over the last 3 years we have built OmniPro from a standing start to a reputable brand in our chosen target market achieving a turnover in excess of €1,000,000. While I am still involved in the area of accountancy our business is ultimately about education, improvement, personal development, helping others and realising dreams. Our business is gradually transforming to what we have always wanted it to be and now we work with not only with accountants on many different levels across compliance, company secretarial, audit, CPD and personal development but also with small to medium sized enterprises SMEs and OMBs and all the people within those businesses.

We are aiming to grow our core business within OmniPro to a tunrover of €5m per annum in the next 3 years establishing one of Irelands leading consultancy and professional advisory firms before moving to an international forum for the next phase of development.
