Borderland Media is a creative production company based in New York with strong ties to Tokyo. The company was founded by producer/director Stephen Nomura Schible, who co-produced the Academy Award winning film LOST IN TRANSLATION. Borderland aims to bring together creative talent in ways that transgress borders (in terms of nations and also creative genres) so that unique, meaningful media content with universal appeal can be created and shared.
